I disagree.
Monk female armor is butt-ugly. But monk male armor is not all bad (but it could be better). 15k acetic's tattoos are very nice as are the 15k Judge's, Wanderer's and Saintly armors. The male FoW armor is good too.

I like the Monk armour. I think they have the best potential when it comes to mixing and matching different sets, but that's just my personal take on things.

I think of it as Monks are always ready to hit the sack. Their armor looks like pajamas and they have protection when they go to bed.

I love my monks looks.

I wear all black tattoo's with silver cheap censors pants. I know I could get a couple more energy with Tattoo's for PvE but I like the look and PvE is so easy now that the energy isn't needed.

I think monk clothes look very good. I have a female monk without hair, clothes everywhere and tatoo on the legs. so sexy..

am I sick that I think a computer model of a female monk is sexy?

I dunno, my healbot looks pretty stylin with saintly leggings(with the trim dyed green) and chest(dyed yellow, but it comes off looking like gold trim), and tattoos on the arms and feet in default blue. Kinda odd combo of ripped-sleave redneck and a medic or priest, but it really does work.

I will say this that Monks are one of the best looking in game and there really is nothing wrong with their armor.I would say that most Monk player are happy with their armor as I am with mine. There have been several posting on Monks move on to another class and not Warriors thet have been brought to.

Eh? I always thought monks looked pretty cool.

Every Necro 15k set (except male scars) > Warrior's 15k Ascalon Set > All Monk armor (except male tatooes) > everything else (IMO)

I think Monks have sweet armor

I hate the head tatoos! They're kind of ugly, I usually don't bother with them unless it's a hard mission then I sling one on, Monks need a new form of head protection (or even a small, discreet, super cool, head tatoo for 15k, they have no 15k head tats lol)

Default Recycling armor?

This question isn't entirely related to the matters at hand, but it probably doesn't warrant creating a new thread. As such, I figured that a thread about monk armor might be the next best option.

My situation is this: I'm going to delete my endgame healer monk to free up a character slot. If, in the future, I decide to remake another female monk with an identical name (sounds crazy, but I actually enjoy the PvE process), could I just slap on the 15k armor from the first incarnation? If not, I suppose it's not worth keeping the pieces...salvage fodder at best.

Has anyone ever tried this?

I hate my monks armour..

I wear aesthetics except for the top which I wear wanders because I soculdn't stand the aesthetics top more than the rest of the amour.

Its the only character of mine not wearing 15k armour (Pyromancers and Plate w/asc helm on my other two). I have the money and probably the materials, but even the 15k stuff looks pretty nasty.

the only armour I actually like the look of is the fissure armour. As i'd be going for aesthetics i'd just need ecto.. but sooo.. much ecto.

Essentially, I support the call that all monk armour is icky, and it dyes really wierd too..

I personally like it. But more options would be great. Particularly less armour-like things such as the beginner's robe thingy.

Some of the male monk armors actually look very nice - especially dyed black and on a bald monk.

The main problem is female armors, and the fact that monk armors don't look good in anything but black (except the desert collectors armor that dyes lighter than all others). I love redying armors often, but they look horrible in most dye mixes >.<

The female monk hair is just HORRIBLE ... while the males get ok hair. I picked the head with most hair for my monk, and I'm ok with the way her 15k Judge's looks, but I can't say I enjoy looking at her as much as at my ele's crimson red 15k geomancer's ... which is a big pity for me since monk is my favourite class to play
